Red
The Château Saint-Esprit “Essentiel” red is a blend of three of the main Provence varietals:
- the Syrah for its concentration and its delicate fruity aromas,
- the Cabernet-Sauvignon bring structure and fine tannins,
- and the Grenache for its balance and its typical Provencal characters.
Grenache and Syrah are processed together, the Cabernet, which ripens later, is harvested at perfect maturity at the end of the season.
Fermentation occurs on skin for fifteen days, with great attention paid to the maceration and tannins extraction.
This wine is principally aged in stainless tanks to preserve the freshness of its fruity flavours.
It is aromatic on the nose with some dark fruits aromas. The palate is well balanced, with a juicy texture and elegant tannins.
Matched well with a roasted duck breast or roasted quails.

Rosé
The Château Saint-Esprit “Essentiel” rosé is a blend of the three main Provence varietals:
- the Grenache for its balance and its typical Provencal characters,
- the Cinsault for a supplement of finesse, crispiness and elegance,
- the Mourvedre which gives subtle spicy notes.
Grenache and Cinsault are processed together while the Mourvedre, ripen later, is harvested at the end of the season.
The grapes are harvested in cool morning temperatures. A full destemming and a short cold maceration are processed before pressing. Fermentation occurs at a low temperature, in temperature controlled stainless tanks in order to enhance the fresh fruity flavours.
At degustation, this wine is fine and well balanced. Its fresh fruity characters and its crispiness will match perfectly Mediterranean dishes as well as your casual aperitifs with friends. A great pleasurable wine on any occasion.

White
The Château Saint-Esprit “Essentiel” white is made up of a single varietal, the greatest of Provence white wines: the Rolle.
The grapes are harvested in cool morning temperatures. A short cold maceration is processed before pressing. Fermentation occurs at a low temperature, which enhances the crispiness characters and preserves the natural acidity to the wine. Then, the wine is aged in stainless tanks for a few months on fine lees before bottling.
At degustation, it is a lean and pleasant wine, with some citrus notes and a mineral finish.
It has a great balance and its fresh and aromatic characters will match perfectly with sea food and Provencal fish as well as oriental dishes.
